I have received a lot of questions about the prospects of a vaccine passport being used in our state. I strongly oppose any legislation or executive order that would require proof of vaccination in order to participate in the functions of our economy or every-day life.

I was proud to sponsor a bill that will provide greater flexibility for members of our community who have to file city income tax returns. This bill – which passed through the House unanimously – extends the city income tax filing deadline to June 1st state-wide.
Rep. Beeler talks about his HB 4569, which would automatically extend the city income tax filing deadline in conjunction with any extension of the federal filing deadline. The measure received unanimous House approval and is now pending in the Michigan Senate.
